Angie Grenz from Verboten Brewing in Loveland gave us a call after a great friend of ours whispered in her ear that we could deliver tacos, and the idea came together; Beer & Tacos Pairing.
This experience was new for us. Never we have paired tacos in our lives, so it was the perfect excuse to do so. We went on and did our research and found some fun useful information on hows and whys of beer pairings. So after we nerds out the texts it was time for our brain and our tong to start coming up with good ideas, check out the menu to see what we came up with to pair Verboten beer list with.
What happen in the event?

What a fun afternoon, as the day progressed and the alcohol went into our bloodstream the music pumping in our hearts and food mingling among many mouths it feel a great energy of community and friends... a true gathering that brought so many souls into one backyard to unleash smiles and laughs, to listen to stories and enjoy a magnificent lifestyle that this gorgeous community can offer. Not to forget that our amazing friends from RC Special Events provided a great service as well. We have to say that we feel proud to have had the opportunity to be part of this day. Let me begin by saying that this was no ordinary engagement party. It already came with such main characters. If you are one of the lucky life humans to have come across this two gorgeous people; consider yourself lucky!!

Let me begin by saying that this was no ordinary engagement party. It already came with such amazing main characters!!!... If you are one of the lucky humans to have come across this two gorgeous people; consider yourself blessed!!
In this adventure, we had the pleasure of helping put together this amazing gathering to celebrate the announcement of a future wedding to come and a "They lived happily ever after"... not that they do not live happy today... but you know how the story goes!! =D
The engagement consisted of about 3 hours of appetizers for around 200 guests in the gorgeous red barn of the Banner's property... (btw our dream kitchen!!) just wanted to throw it out there... maybe life will smile at us with something this gorgeous one day. =D
After this fun appetizers, we stayed with about 25 closed family and friends and we turn the afternoon into a "Chefs Table" 5 course plated fun dinner!!!
Kelly and Blake, thank you so much for trusting in us with this amazing day. We are forever grateful to have been able to be part of it. Now lets keep making magic together and having tons of fun!!!

In a season where everyone basically jumps from house to house drinking and giving hugs to graduate students we had busy May season. We had the great luck to be hired by an amazing family from California which their daughter lives here in our gorgeous Fort Collins.
This 50+ people event was a total success and I have to say that for a grad party, this seemed to be a great deal of friendship around the party. We want to say thank you to the Ford family for giving us this amazing opportunity, as we want to say;

We had an amazing time putting together this fun Mexican menu with Chiles Rellenos, crispy plantains with guacamole amongst a variety of dishes!! A full bar managed by Mountainside Events keep everyone warm and cozy.

A New Format
This was an amazing collaboration and the results where really fun. Juli & I proposed a different format for the Pop-Up Pairing, one where everyone could enjoy not inly the food but the ambiance in a way that food would always be there on display. So we set up a few stations offering tacos, desserts and drinks.
I want to say thanks to everyone that supported us, we are truly grateful for the opportunities you gave us and you have giving us in the past, without your support we would never be lucky enough to express our culinary creation.
Also to all of our staff you make magic when we work together!! We love working amongst you, thank you for all the dedication and love you provide to the gatherings.

When Stephen from "Los Dos Paelleros" approached to see if we wanted to do this Pup-Up in collaboration with him, we knew it was going to be a new realm for us. He has lived in Valencia, but Juli & I have never even been there. So the challenge was accepted with a smile.
A little History on Valencia
The port city of Valencia lies on Spain’s southeastern coast, where the Turia River meets the Mediterranean Sea. It’s known for its City of Arts and Sciences and food, with futuristic structures including a planetarium, an oceanarium and an interactive museum. Valencia also has several beaches, including some within nearby Albufera Park, a wetlands reserve with a lake and walking trails.
Our Experience in this Adventure
This event was phenomenal. It is the first time we work in an event like this in The Artery and everyone is just very professional. The space is simply a white canvas dream waiting to be painted. Collaborating with Cody Frohman and Jacob Laxen from the Coloradoan has been an amazing adventure by itself already. They are nothing but fantastic people who look to enjoy life and benefit the community, and we feel blessed that they keep looking for us to keep creating magical events. Thanks to Mulberry Max for an amazing job Pairing the Menu! Amazing Job!!
We want to thank specially the people who follow this amazing Eat+Drink Pop-Ups events... they are the true heroes in this adventures, as they have allowed us to express and share our art; and there is no better feeling than having the opportunity to do it. Thank you all.

We drove 2 hours from Fort Collins to get to this magnificent town called Silverthorn up on I70. When we left Fort Collins it was sunny and at 70F but when we got there it was another world!! 24F and snowing!! OMG!! haha There is one thing we love about this business and that is that you never know how things might go, so you better prepare for everything!!.
At Silverthorn Pavillione Venue everyone was amazing. Amy & Charles where there and we got greeted with warmth and love. Happy to be there we starting the craziness in their amazing kitchen. This rides are one way, and once you are on the boat it does not stops until the rivers slows down, so we better grab to something and enjoy the ride... which we do most of the time haha. =D

Food, Love & Drinks, where the theme of this amazing and gorgeous persons that we had the pleasure of cooking for their wedding reception. But this was not your traditional crowd. The groom and the bride have been with us for quite some time in this world. Proving that it is never to late to say - "I Do."

Food, Love & Drinks was the theme of this amazing couple and gorgeous people that we had the pleasure of cooking for their wedding reception. But this was not your traditional crowd. The groom and the bride have been with us for quite some time in this world. Proving that it is never to late to say - "I Do."
Around 70 guests attended this fun and prosperous evening. Since we started planning with William & Kay, everything was just easy and fun. They trusted in our creative input and since it is never about us, we went all the way with them!!
It took place in their gorgeous home, where in a matter of minutes there were people left and right, Juli & I in the kitchen, Estée backing us making sure everything keeps flowing, John hunt in the Bar and the amazing table of desserts provided by Sarah Bakery!! Yum!!!
No matter how many times we have had the pleasure of cooking in peoples homes, there is always a new adventures, always a fun story, always the challenges and the humbleness of feeling grateful that once again we are doing what we love to do for a living.
William & Tay, thank you very much for this incredible opportunity and for trusting in us to help make part of your dream come true. We had a blast!.

Hemp Oil-Basil Pesto Recipe
Northern Colorado’s premiere chefs Juli y Juan’s Kitchen whip up a special Nutiva® Cold-Pressed Organic Hemp Oil recipe just in time for the NoCo Hemp Expo, March 31st-April 1st in Loveland, CO.
Spiral Zucchini “Spaghetti” and Hemp Oil-Basil Pesto Combine for a Delicious, Nutritious Meal!
...DOWN TO BUSINESS!
HOW TO...
- Add pine nuts and parmesan cheese to food processor; grind just enough for a coarse texture. Add basil, parsley, garlic and Nutiva Organic Hemp Oil and process again. The amount of oil will depend on how you like your pesto. If you like it thicker, like a spread, add just a 1/4 cup.
- Once you have achieved desired consistency add salt and pepper to taste.
- Using a spiralizer, turn zucchini into long strands. You can also substitute zucchini for regular pasta.
- Toss zucchini strands with halved cherry tomatoes and pesto. Let stand for 5 to 10 minutes or until zucchini softens. Divide among 4 dishes; sprinkle with additional Parmesan if desired.

Serves 4 - 20 minutes to prepare
- Basil 1 1/2 cups
- Parmesan 1 cup
- Roasted garlic 4 cloves
- Parsley 1/2 cup
- Nutiva Organic Hemp Oil 1/4 or 1/2 cup
- Pine nuts 1/4 cup
- Sea salt and pepper to taste
- Zucchini 4 pcs
- Cherry tomatoes 2 cups (halved)

Hemp hearts (also known as “shelled hemp seeds”) are a rich source of nutrition, putting them in the “superfoods” category. Hemp hearts typically contain 33 percent protein, 9 percent omega-3 essential fatty acids, and are an excellent source of iron, vitamin E, and Omega fatty acids.
Omega fatty acids are essential because human bodies cannot make them on their own, which means we need to get these good fats from our diet. Omega-3 fatty acids are particularly beneficial to the brain, skin, joints and heart, and Omega-6, such as GLA (gamma-linolenic acid), is important to hair, skin and bone health.

The hemp heart is a tasty and versatile food with a light and nutty flavor. Try adding to:
- hot or cold cereals like oatmeal or granola
- blend into your favorite smoothies
- sprinkle on top of salads, soups, and even ice cream
- add hemp hearts to baked goods for a nutritious and nutty boost.
Hemp oil is commonly cold-processed (under 104°F) from raw, live hemp seeds, using a mechanical process to remove the hard shells, yielding delicious shelled hemp seeds. Hemp oil is expeller-pressed from the seeds without the use of hexane or other toxic solvents.
Use hemp oil in smoothies, salads, vegetables and pasta dishes. To conserve the essential fatty acids, use it raw or gently heated.
Hemp foods are legal to import, buy, and consume in the United States, and can be found in natural grocers, and health food stores. While hemp and marijuana both come from the same species of plant, Cannabis sativa L., they are different varieties, just as Chihuahuas and St. Bernards are different breeds of dogs.
If the only source of the psychoactive THC in your body is from hemp foods, produced from Canadian grown hemp seeds and eaten in reasonable quantities, it is virtually impossible to fail a drug test by ingesting hemp foods due to the fact that THC levels are barely measurable.

From 0 to 100% into a catering wedding world!
Since last year that Casey Muller decided to contact us for a small coffee meeting. From this "Mocca" meeting the idea grew tremendous in the last year. We decided to start focusing on weddings. Since then we have been on the adventure of sharing our passion with those who are trying to make a magical day. We have decided to gear towards weddings as we love details and the opportunity to help those who really want their dreams to come true.
Juli and I never know where life will takes us, but for now we are here in Fort Collins Colorado, and we cannot stop living our dreams, we cannot stop seeing that there is always something we can all do to make things better.
This year we had the opportunity to cater the Fort Collins Wedding Association and it was an honor for Juli and I to do it.

We truly felt the love from everyone, I have to say that it was an amazing event that opened our heart and minds into a great group of professionals that are trying to make a difference in the "Wedding World". We are truly thankful for giving us this opportunity and we can only hope that Juli & I can offer something to better the community.

A few days ago we had the pleasure of sharing our love and passion for food with our dear friends. Mexican Cuisine was their choice in the Menu and Oh!! SI!!! That was that delicious!! For Us cooking Mexican will always have a special place in our hearts. It reminds us of this mystical and magical region of the world, a place that both Juli & I have given a good two decades of our life.
